Subsidies
Nová zelená úsporám now covers air conditioning too
The Czech Nová zelená úsporám (New Green Savings) programme contributes towards air conditioning (air-to-air heat pumps) and air-to-water heat pumps — without you having to scrap or stop using your existing gas or electric boiler. Depending on your household, the support is either a direct NZÚ Light grant or an interest-free loan. We'll assess your eligibility and help with the application.
Support amounts
How much you can get from Nová zelená úsporám
The direct NZÚ Light grant is intended for lower-income households, such as pensioners or recipients of social benefits. Other family-house owners can take an interest-free loan, with the interest paid by the state. We'll assess which type of support you qualify for. The programme applies to properties in the Czech Republic.

Conditions
What the air conditioning must meet
- Energy class A++ — met by selected Daikin units, including Multi and Multi+ multi-split combinations
- An indoor unit in every living room — a single unit in the lounge is not enough
- Your existing boiler can stay — you don't have to scrap or stop using your gas or electric boiler
- Renovation passport — a document that assesses your house and proposes energy-saving measures; prepared by certified Daikin partners we refer you to
Daikin states the heating output of its multi-split units even at outdoor temperatures down to −20 °C. We'll design the right set-up for your house during the site survey.

FAQ
What customers ask about air-conditioning subsidies
No. Nová zelená úsporám now supports air conditioning without you having to scrap or stop using your existing gas or electric boiler.
The direct NZÚ Light grant is for lower-income households — for example pensioners or recipients of social benefits. Other family-house owners can take the interest-free loan: CZK 200,000 for air conditioning, CZK 350,000 for an air-to-water heat pump. We'll assess your eligibility with no obligation.
Units in energy class A++. Daikin Multi and Multi+ multi-split combinations also qualify, and Daikin states their outputs and power inputs even at outdoor temperatures down to −20 °C. We'll design the set-up for your house during the site survey — there must be a unit in every living room.
Yes. An air-to-air heat pump takes most of its heat from the outdoor air and produces several times more heat than the electricity it consumes. We'll calculate the savings and payback for your house using the Daikin calculator.
A renovation passport is a document from an energy adviser that assesses the condition of your house and proposes energy-saving measures in order of priority. It is required for a Nová zelená úsporám application. Certified Daikin partners we refer you to prepare it for CZK 5,000–9,000 depending on the quality of the documents, and for an optional fee they also handle the application paperwork. After the installation is complete, Daikin pays you CZK 7,000 towards the passport.
